Love Story...

There was a boy, who loved a girl. That girl used to work in a music store. That boy used to visit the store everyday and bought Cd's from there. But actually, he used to go to talk to that girl and spend time with her. But the boy never had the courage to say 'I love you' to that girl. This carried on for a long time. After few days the girl was worried and went to his house to check on him. When she reached his home, the boy's grand mother opened the door. The girl asked bout that boy. Grandmother said he died this morning. Grandmother took her to his room. She saw all the Cd's untouched and still packed. She started crying after seeing all the Cd's, because inside every Cd pack there was a note which said 'I love you'.

-True love untold.

Never loose a chance to say 'I love you' to the one you love.

Love

I love you but I'm not your lover.

I care for you but I'm not from your family.

I am ready to share your pain but I'm not in your blood relation.

I am your true friend and you are my sweetheart.

True friend scolds like a dad,

cares like a mother,

teases like a sister,

irritates like a brother

and finally loves you more than a lover.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not supposed to love you, I'm not supposed to care.

I'm not supposed to live my life wishing you were there.

I'm not supposed to wonder where you are or what you do,

but I'm sorry i can't help myself because I'm in love with you.

Happiness and Sadness

Happiness and Sadness, two things that are part of everybody's life. There is no reason to be happy. Happiness is a mighty gift that makes an individual feel good about himself, his surroundings and others. It is a feeling of joy and satisfaction. It can be given to anyone. Happiness has no boundaries. It can be seen everywhere. Even with animals. Parents are happy when their child does well. Lovers are happy when they are together. Pet is happy when it gets love. If a person is happy he is mentally and physically fit. Happiness doesn't cost a thing.
Sadness is an emotional and a soft side of life. It is a feeling of thought, loss and helplessness.
Some people like to share their sad moments. While others keep it to themselves. A person is quiet when he is sad. Sadness is a phase or a temporary mood that a person comes across due to certain reasons. This feeling at times can be for the loved ones as well. If you miss someone. If someone has hurt your feelings. If you loose someone.

"As i always feel- It doesn't matter if you don't take part in somebody's happiness but you should always be there for those who are sad or emotionally low."

Cricket

CRICKET. Game i dearly love. I've been playing cricket since childhood. Dreamt of becoming a cricketer, but sadly that dream is just a dream now. This is the only sport which has more than two formats. Test cricket the oldest and the best. One day cricket i.e. 50 overs a side. And finally the new format-Twenty 20. Which people like in today's world. I still prefer test cricket, both watching and playing. I had several opportunities during my cricketing days. I have played in India, Pakistan and in England too. It was a great experience for me. Playing under different conditions and with different people. One of my memorable moment was when i took a wicket of an international player A.J.Burger (Namibia) when i was playing in England.
I have played at several levels. Captained my school team (Mayo). Played district, state, club cricket, village cricket in England and attended few national camps too. I have been coached by many good coaches- Madan Lal (former Indian cricketer), my school coach. Sachin Tendulkar has always been my idol and some people said i looked like him when i used to bat.
I was an all-rounder. Though i started my career as a medium pace bowler. Then switched to spin. Then i started opening the batting along with spin bowling. And fielding has always been my plus point. I was more of a defensive stable batsman rather than an aggressive opener. As a bowler i have had a lot of success.
I was fortunate to visit the home of cricket- Lord's ground in London. As its a dream of every cricketer to see that beautiful stadium. I cannot imagine my life without cricket and i thank my parents for supporting me.
There are few players i admire:
Batters.
  • Sachin Tendulkar
  • Brain Lara
  • Steve Waugh
  • Michael Vaughan
  • Gary Kirsten

Bowlers.

  • Wasim Akram
  • Darren Gough
  • Shane Warne
  • Courtney Walsh
  • Allan Donald

All rounders.

  • Chris Cairns
  • Sanath Jayasuriya
  • Shaun Pollock
  • Andrew Flintoff
  • Nathan Astle

Fielders.

  • Jonty Rhodes
  • Herschelle Gibbs
  • Lou Vincent
  • Yuvraj Singh
  • Andrew Symonds

Wicket keepers.

  • Adam Gilchrist
  • Moin Khan
  • Nayan Mongia
  • Mark Boucher
  • Brendon McCullum

Some of my good performance were:

Batting.
  • 67 vs DPS Mathura Road in Rajkot ipsc 2004
  • 51 vs MNSS Rai in Rajkot ipsc 2004 (match winning single handed knock)
  • 58* vs Mayoor school
  • 52 vs Rajasthan
  • 65 vs Eastbourne college in a club match in England
  • 47 (23 balls) for Henfield club in a 20 over match
  • 64 (61 balls) in Amity international school
  • 149* in a day game
  • 57 vs sussex martlets
  • 41 vs Ardingly in England
These were some of my top innings along with many other fifty plus knocks. And among those scores, 58 was made 5 times. :)
Bowling.
  • 6/56 vs Ellesmere college in England (bowled 19.4 overs on the trot)
  • 5/11 vs Rajasthan (including a hat-trick)
  • 4/5 vs Bollywood in Mayo (4-2-5-4)
  • 4/17 vs Eastbourne college in England
These were some of my top bowling efforts among many other. I had 4 hat-tricks in my career and seven 5 wkts hauls.
As for my fielding. I took many catches, few of them to remember too and many run outs as well.
A cricketers career is incomplete without a blow or two on this body. Well i had a few in my career too and the one i can recall as the most painful blow- Ajmer vs Jodhpur. While batting, i got one in my rib cage and it was very painful.

MAYO College, Ajmer

Mayo- heaven, dreamland, my school. More than 130 years old institute. Royal history behind it. My days in that 400+ acre campus- Those were the best days of my life. Memories of my stay there will always remain with me. I smile, i cry when i think of my school. I miss those beautiful days and priceless moments. I know that time can never return but i am lucky i was a part of that great school which is well known for its Royalty and beauty. 'Proud to be a Mayoite', thats all i can say. Mayo college 'Eton of the east' will live forever.

I can still remember the feeling that grew inside me everytime i entered the main gate, with the view of the main building right before as we entered. I cannot forget my room. It was colourful, clean and pics on the wall and in my cupboard everywhere.

Mayo gave me more than i deserved. Wonderful teachers, everlasting memories, true friends, i was made captain of my school cricket team and college monitor, taught me how to live life, take responsibilities and respect for all.

Because of Mayo i got to visit many places in india. Our successfull visit to pakistan and my exchange program to England and a week in Scotland with my friends.

I made a lot of friends there. Batchmates, seniors and juniors. I got great respect and love from all. My chapter of mayo is incomplete without my house master Mr. Pant who believed in me and supported me throughout my mayo days.

I joined mayo in 9th grade and i was there till my 12th boards. Four great years.

Last few months were amazing. Exam time all of us studied together, midnight parties, playing cricket in the corridor, sneeking out of the campus such moments i wish i could relive.

During those days there were few things i did that i never dreamt of doing such as... sleeping on a railway platform waiting for our 4 a.m. train. That same train being a third class non a/c wooden chair train. Hopping from one platform to another while crossing railway tracks. Walking on the streets late at night. Three hour walk in the middle of the night from Edinburgh to Musselburgh in Scotland with my friends. Eating dinner in famous food street in lahore.

I thank my parents and mayo for giving me such opporunities and for teaching me how to become a better person.

GO MAYO!!!

About ME

सहर्ष Saharsha, people know me by this name. It means loads of happiness. Well... i am like that, and i live life in a positive way. I am a soft spoken and a clean hearted person. I never see anybody in a negative way nor do i talk bad about anyone. I speak less as everyone knows but when i want to speak, i express my feelings and thoughts to the full. Tension and anger are two words that do not go with me. But there are days when i am not up to the mark, I feel low and what i do is, take out my old photo albums, see them and I try to recollect old memories. With tears in my eyes and laughter inside.
I want to make everyone happy and i never think of hurting anyone. Be it anyone. I hate people using foul and abusive language.
I love animals. I have two dogs (Simba and Mogli). But my dream is to keep a tiger and a python(Albino Burmese Python). Most people don't like snakes including my mum. Love wildlife, adventure, sports- mainly cricket and golf but i play all games. I Enjoy driving cars, traveling, seeing different and new places be it New Zealand or Andaman. I have a keen interest in space and its science as to what it really is. Few other interests involve listening to music, watching movies, eating, ghosts and spirits, magic and of course girls, I'm straight. :) I try to be what I am actually, never want to pretend. I don't try to be too cool or hot or any other way, i just try to be simple and show my real self.
In all these years i have learnt alot from my parents, friends and life. I am lucky to have such great parents whom i respect more than god. I might not believe in god at times but I'll always believe my parents at every step of my life. My sweet little sister who is actually three years elder to me, loves me so much that i cannot think of living my life without her. She has been a great support for me. And i cannot forget my two Babies.. Simba and Mogli. I love them from the bottom of my heart. I feel scared when i think that they wont be there one day. My family of different bloods are spiritually bonded together and i love each and everyone, although i might not show it at times.

I don't like to talk about myself much so I'll stop here. My family, my friends and all those people whom i have come across know me.
